TORONTO – Phil Jackson, if you’re listening: An increasingly impatient Carmelo Anthony is asking for REAL help.
Surrounded by All-Stars and future free agents, Anthony opened up Friday about a pressing desire to team up with somebody who can ease the load off his sore knee. The 31-year-old is doing his part in Toronto by doubling as a recruiter.
“I think everybody kind of dreams and hopes that they can play with another great player, another star player. It’s a star player’s league,” Anthony said. “I think that’s what we talk about when we all get together – ‘I want to play with you, I want to play with you.
