Carmelo Anthony challenges Knicks to rebound after All-Star break

Carmelo Anthony wants the Knicks to return from the All-Star break ready to fight, and challenged his teammates to try to make something out of this season that has quickly slipped away.

The Knicks go into the 10-day All-Star break on a six-game losing streak and with 10 defeats in 11 games. In the last three weeks, the Knicks have fallen from ninth to 12th place in the East, undergone a coaching change and are a season-worst nine games below .500 at 23-32.

Anthony, who said he won’t waive his no-trade clause and wants to remain a Knick, knows it’s up to the players more than ever to turn around the season.
