ATL 99, NYK 96: Porzingis Scores 22, Burke Adds 14 in Narrow Defeat at MSG

How It Happened:
In one of the most bizarre finishes in the NBA this season, the Hawks escaped Madison Square Garden with a victory on Sunday afternoon. New York led 89-86 and Tim Hardaway Jr. connected on a potential And-1 opportunity but the bucket was waved off. On the previous possession, Kent Bazemore only shot two free throws but was fouled behind the arc. The refs allowed Bazemore to take the extra free throw, which cut the deficit to 89-87 with 3:06 to go in the contest. Roughly two minutes later, Mike Muscala knocked down a 3-pointer to trim the Knicks lead to just 96-95 with 42 seconds on the clock.
