Craig Hodges played for Phil Jackson from 1988 to 1992. He was a member of Jackson’s coaching staff from 2005 to 2011.
Thus, it came as no surprise when the New York Knicks promoted Hodges to interim head coach of the Westchester Knicks—New York’s D-League affiliate. Unfortunately, he won’t be promoted from the interim position.
According to Marc Berman of The New York Post, Westchester general manager Allan Houston let Hodges go after just four games as the head coach.
