Knicks News: Steve Kerr, Phil Jackson have dinner, deal soon?

In Knicks news tonight, it looks like the chances of former Chicago Bulls three-point artist Steve Kerr coaching the New York Knicks are getting better and better by the day.

According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com, Kerr and Knicks president Phil Jackson had dinner on Sunday night and things went swimmingly between the former player/coach combination:

Phil Jackson has gone on the record to say that he and Steve Kerr share similar philosophies and understandings about how a basketball team should be run on the floor and in the locker room. Kerr has been rumored to be a top candidate for the Knicks' job even before the job was vacant, with his name being bandied about since Phil Jackson was hired on as the New York Knicks' president of basketball operations.
