Derek Fisher backlash shows need for NBA lottery reform

Some thought Knicks owner James Dolan, president Phil Jackson and coach Derek Fisher got their just desserts last Tuesday when the club dropped to the fourth pick in the NBA draft lottery.

NBA fans said karma bit Dolan in the rear for hiring Isiah Thomas, found  sexual harassment trial for creating a “hostile workplace for women,’’ the week prior as president/co-owner of a women’s basketball team – the Liberty. Jackson was punished for not even showing up to the lottery despite living blocks away. He sent Steve Mills to the dais and didn’t bother to make an appearance. Heck, he didn’t even tweet about it.
