Why the Jets are more optimistic Antonio Cromartie will play vs. Colts

A week ago, it seemed impossible Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie would play Monday night against the Colts. But with each passing day, there seems to be more optimism.

Cromartie was listed as questionable on the team’s official injury report Saturday. He was limited in practice for the second straight day.

Coach Todd Bowles did not have media availability, so it’s hard to gauge what that exactly means. But it feels a long way from when Cromartie was punching the turf last week with what appeared to be a serious knee injury. Instead, it was just a sprain and Cromartie was deemed “week-to-week” by the doctors.
