Why it’s more unlikely Eric Decker will play vs. Seahawks

Eric Decker’s status remains in limbo. For the second straight day, the wide receiver didn’t practice. According to coach Todd Bowles, he has yet to undergo an MRI exam on his injured shoulder, though that could happen soon.

In the meantime, Decker is getting treatment, and it seems unlikely he will be active Sunday against the Seahawks.

“It’s a concern,” Bowles said. “Hopefully it’s not a [multi-week injury], but if it is, we’ve got guys ready to play. I’ll see where he is [on Friday] before I make a decision on how serious or not serious it is.
