After feeling like the offense won the battle during Wednesday's practice on the goal line, members of the defense answered the challenge and turned the tempo up during today’s practice.
“We came off a day that we weren’t a full go yesterday,” linebacker Joe Mays said after practice. “The offense wanted to challenge us and see how we were going to respond. I think that the guys came out and we were being pros. We came out and responded well and did some good things out here on the field and overall I think everyone got better.
