Damien Woody could not believe his eyes and ears when the news broke about Darrelle Revis’ violent altercation last Sunday morning on the streets of Pittsburgh that led to four felony charges and a warrant for his arrest.
Woody, the former Jets guard who played with Revis from 2008-10, was scrolling through Twitter on Thursday evening when he saw the news, and when he saw it he thought he was seeing the facts wrong.
“When I saw it I was shocked,’’ Woody, a current ESPN studio analyst, told The Post on Saturday. “In my time with Darrelle — and I’ve known Darrelle for a long time — I’ve never seen him caught up in any type of activity like that before.
