Sad but True? Jets Part Ways With Offensive Coordinator John Morton

Well, that didn’t last very long, did it?

After several days of sending out tweets referring to a “storm brewing” in Florham Park, New York Daily News beat write Manish Mehta is now filling in the blanks, telling Jets fans that the team is parting ways with offensive coordinator John Morton after just one season.

Morton’s offense was ranked just 28th in scoring in the NFL, but the unit looked light years better than many had anticipated prior to the start of the season.
