Ryan Fitzpatrick Throws Six Interceptions In Jets Loss To Chiefs

After one of the best performances of his career a week earlier again the Buffalo Bills, Ryan Fitzpatrick put up what might have to be considered one of the worst performances by a quarterback in NFL history.

Fitzpatrick threw six interceptions against the Kansas City Chiefs in a 24-3 loss, including five in the second half and four in the fourth quarter alone. Three of the picks occurred in the end zone as well.

His final stat line was 20-44 for 188 yards with no touchdowns.

According to ESPN.com’s Rich Cimini, one quarterback has thrown six interceptions in one game 40 times, with the record being seven interceptions in one game, which is shared by six different players.
