Fitzpatrick Fires
After putting together one solid drive that featured RB Chris Ivory during the preseason opener in Detroit, Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Jets returned to practice today in Florham Park after having a day off. Fitzpatrick caught the attention of observers by throwing a low and tight pass to WR Shaquelle Evans where only Evans could catch it during the first team period.
“We got some good work,” said Fitzpatrick. “Good situational work for us as an offense at the end. Just working on timing and getting throws to receivers versus the defense and all that.
