The Jets selected LSU safety Jamal Adams with the No. 6 pick in the NFL Draft.
Adams, projected by most to go in the top-5, slipped to the Jets, who pounced on the versatile player.
“I really don’t know what to expect. I’m just going to be outstanding wherever I land. I’m just going to wait on that call,” Adams said before the draft.
Adams can play up in the box or cover receivers one-on-one.
