Jets stockpiling potential replacements for C Nick Mangold

The New York Jets know it won't be easy to replace Nick Mangold, so they're hedging their bets.

On Tuesday, they announced the signing of former Indianapolis Colts center Jonotthan Harrison, who actually has more experience than the presumptive starter, Wesley Johnson.

Contact terms weren't immediately available, but it probably was a one-year deal for the minimum salary.

Harrison, a non-tendered free agent, started 23 games in three seasons for the Colts. He started four games last season at left guard, but he has 19 career starts at center.
