George Fant made the cross-country, cross-conference trip from the Pacific Northwest to the New York metropolitan area. If it’s up to him, he won’t be the last.
The New York Jets offensive lineman took to Twitter on Tuesday in an attempt to recruit cornerback Shaquill Griffin to the team.
Fant and Griffin played three seasons together with the Seattle Seahawks before the former inked a three-year, $30 million deal with the Jets last spring.
Fant, 28, started 14 games at tackle for the Jets last season after four years with the Seahawks.
