Well, better late than never, right?
On the eve of the team's first training camp practice, the Jets and Ryan Fitzpatrick finally came to terms on a contract. At the culmination of a 140-day negotiation, Fitzpatrick re-upped with Gang Green on a one-year deal worth $12 million, according to multiple reports.
The news of the signing was first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rappoport. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, incentives can bump said contract up to $15 million.
So, with arguably the offseason's most frustration storyline a thing of the past, a new question begs to be answered.
