Darrelle Revis (concussion) not cleared to return yet

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Darrelle Revis (concussion) still has to pass two more tests before he can be cleared to play Sunday against the Titans, but the Jets have seen encouraging signs of progress.

The star cornerback was on the practice field Wednesday for the first time since suffering a concussion Nov. 22 in Houston. Revis, who missed the past two games, did light running off to the side but did not practice.

“If he doesn’t have any setbacks,” coach Todd Bowles said, “he’ll progress to the next day [in the concussion protocol]. He’ll do more. He’ll run around, and if he can do non-contact drills, we’ll see what the progression is from there.
