Andre Roberts breaks Jets’ first-team All-Pro drought

Despite finishing 4-12, the Jets landed a first-team All-Pro player for the first time in seven years.

Kick returner Andre Roberts was named to the Associated Press All-Pro team Friday after a standout first season with the Jets. The 30-year-old returned 40 kickoffs for 1,174 yards and one touchdown, all league highs. He also had 23 punt returns for 324 yards and a touchdown.

Roberts is the first Jet to be named first-team All-Pro since cornerback Darrelle Revis in 2011. He received 45 votes from the 50 AP voters.

Safety Jamal Adams was selected second-team All-Pro.
