Devin Smith Injury: Updates on Jets WR's Ribs, Punctured Lung and Recovery

Devin Smith's NFL career hasn't gotten off to the best start after the New York Jets' second-round draft pick was injured during training camp Friday.

Dom Cosentino of NJ.com reported Smith also has a punctured lung. The Jets announced Smith was taken to a local hospital after he suffered broken ribs during practice, where, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post, he will remain overnight.

Albert Breer of NFL Network reported Smith is expected to be out four to six weeks, and head coach Todd Bowles confirmed that timetable even after it was revealed Smith sustained a punctured lung, via Darryl Slater of NJ.
