The Chicago Bears trading Brandon Marshall to the Jets this offseason had more to do with money than his makeup, according to reporter Kristian Dyer (April 20).
“A source on the Bears, speaking on the condition of anonymity, tells Metro New York that Marshall was not shipped off the to the land of the green and white because of any character concerns. Rather, the source said, ‘it was money, pure money,'” Dyer wrote.
Last season, Marshall had 61 receptions for 721 yards and eight touchdowns and multiple injuries, including two broken ribs and a collapsed lung Dec.
