It was teased over a month ago, but the Islanders finally announced their plans for radio broadcasts this season and the answer is not one, not two but three stations.
New York-based stations WNYE 91.5 FM, WRHU 88.7 FM, and WRCN 103.9 FM will all simulcast games this season, with longtime radio voice Chris King doing play-by-play and Islanders TV star Greg Picker as analyst.
WNYE is managed and operated by NYC Media, the City of New York's official television and radio network, and a division of the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment.
