Last night the refs stole a fair goal from the New York Islanders. They felt that Marc-Andre Fleury had been interfered with by Alan Quine. The Flower was in fact interfered with, thanks to some incidental contact.
And based on the official NHL rule book a goal should not be called back based on incidental contact. But, you know, you win some you lose some.
And then tonight against the Bruins, David Pasternak introduces Stephen Gionta‘s face to his stick. To be fair, Gionta wasn’t so nice to Gionta wasn’t too nice to Pasternak with a hit from behind just before.
