New York Islanders Daily: Anthony Beauvillier Homecoming

Imagine being 19 years old and playing NHL hockey in your home city. That’s what Anthony Beauvillier was feeling last night as he made his Montreal debut. His debut was an impressive one.

Beauvillier scored to put the Isles on the board first beating Carey Price.

They showed Beauvillier’s parents after the goal and his dad had to wipe away the tears. That is one of those “this is why we watch sports” moments. During the first intermission, MSG played a clip of him talking about growing up a Canadiens fan.
