Clutterbuck Beats Korpisalo In Shootout, Boosts Isles To 3-2 Win Over Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Right winger Cal Clutterbuck scored in the fourth round of a shootout to lead the New York Islanders to a 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday in Nationwide Arena.

Clutterbuck's goal ended it after Blue Jackets center Alexander Wennberg scored in the third round to keep the game alive.

The Islanders, who blasted Edmonton 8-1 on Sunday, got goals from center Ryan Strome in the first minute of the game and center Anders Lee early in the third.

Islanders goaltender Jaroslav Halak finished with 29 saves. He stopped Atkinson, Dubinsky and Boone Jenner in the shootout, allowing only Wennberg's goal.
