TAMPA, Fla. — Moving Brock Nelson up in the lineup spurred an offensive outburst from the Islanders in Game 1. Keeping him there was a detriment in Game 2.
Now Islanders coach Jack Capuano has a decision to make after a 4-1 loss to the Lightning on Saturday afternoon at Amalie Arena tied this second-round series at one game apiece. Game 3 is Tuesday night in Brooklyn.
“I’m not going to single out Brock, but there are a few guys that I think struggled a little bit,” Capuano said. “I think you guys know who they are.
