For several different reasons, Parcells had a point of reference on this discussion. Of particular note was the fact that he presided over the career over the greatest New York Giants player in franchise history. His name was Lawrence Taylor, and he also happens to be the greatest draft pick in team history.
That much is fact.
Whether or not No. 2 overall pick Saquon Barkley surpasses Taylor remains a very open question. It will take at least a decade, if not more, to decide.
