The NFL officials screwed up, but the Giants who called them out were chastised.
Defensive backs Janoris Jenkins and Landon Collins and linebacker Alec Ogletree ripped the officials after a 33-31 loss to the Panthers in a game with several questionable penalties that went against the Giants.
Giants coach Pat Shurmur — who had his own critiques of the officiating after the game — wasn't happy to hear his players speaking out.
"I handled it with them, and the players assured me that that will never happen again," Shurmur told Giants.
