The Giants might never change Odell Beckham’s personality or his penchant for finding controversy, but they are hoping to change their star wide receiver’s approach to hydration.
Beckham, who left the playing field before halftime to receive IV fluids for the second time this season last Thursday against Philadelphia, indicated on Friday that water is not generally his beverage of choice.
“I really don’t like water. I’m trying. I’m trying. I really just don’t like it,” Beckham said Friday. “You know when you get that stomach feeling, when it’s all squishy? I’m trying to stay hydrated.
“Sometimes I just gotta get an IV, it’s just necessary.
