The skinny: Weddle is still a playmaker despite being on the wrong side of 30. It seems a long shot that the Giants can beat out the rest of the league for his services.

The skinny: After Weddle, Nelson is arguably the best option on the market. He is coming off a Pro Bowl season. Nelson won't break the bank, and the Giants would be smart to check in on him, especially if they believe in their young safeties.
