According to Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, the New York Giants have signed former Indianapolis Colts center, Khaled Holmes.
Holmes, a former fourth-round of the Colts, spent three seasons with the team (starting nine games) before being waived last May and ending up on the Chicago Bears.
He was cut prior to last season.
The Giants seem pretty secure with Weston Richburg at the moment, as he’ll likely be one of their top candidates to being extended long-term in the near future.
This seems like a “shot in the dark” kind of signing.
