New York Giants: Mykkele Thompson Has Converted To Cornerback

According to James Kratch of NJ.com, the New York Giants have converted former safety Mykkele Thompson to cornerback.

Thompson, who was a fifth-round pick back in 2015 by the Giants, has played in just one career game, due to various injuries.

With the safety position now getting a bit crowded, as the group includes Landon Collins, Darian Thompson, Andrew Adams, and recently signed Duke Ihenacho, it only makes sense for (Mykkele) Thompson to help the team elsewhere.

Although the team is top heavy (in terms of talent) at cornerback, with Janoris Jenkins, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Eli Apple, after the “big three” things get a bit tricky.
