This information was released through a Licking County (Ohio) Municipal Court clerk and reported by ESPN. Interestingly enough, the case was cleared up pretty quickly, so Lewis has no distractions heading into New York Giants training camp on Thursday.
As reported by ESPN, “[Lewis] was fined $150 for driving in marked lanes and $25 for a tinted windows restriction.”
Lewis dodged the larger legal concern, the OVI charge, which may have subjected him to NFL discipline. Justice must move quickly in Ohio, as even six weeks for traffic charges is warp speed compared to local courts in this area.
