As the scribes go through their yearly ritual called the “mock draft”, these exercises lack context because they occur before free agency.
This week, several analysts had their New York Giants mock draft selections released through the team’s website. At this point, perhaps these potential draft picks make sense, or perhaps they do not. Unfortunately, we just don’t know what the team’s needs are going to be after free agency.
