Four down, two to go. Twenty-four hours after signing rookie cornerback Dru Phillips, the Giants have reached an agreement with rookie linebacker Darius Muasau.

A sixth-round draft pick, Muasau played college football at the University of Hawaii from 2019 to 2021.

During the 2020 season, Muasau led the Rainbow Warriors in tackles, placing fourth in the nation for solo tackles (66) and fifth in total tackles (102). He was honored as the outstanding player on defense in the 2020 New Mexico Bowl, amassing nine tackles, one sack, and an interception.

Muasau was selected as an All-Mountain West first-team member in 2020, the sole Hawaii player to achieve first-team recognition, and also received an honorable mention as an All-American from Phil Steele.
