Kyle Lauletta pleads guilty to charges from traffic arrest

Giants rookie backup quarterback Kyle Lauletta pleaded guilty to a disorderly persons charge and two traffic violations on Tuesday, according to the Hudson County prosecutor’s office in New Jersey.

Lauletta was arrested on Oct. 30 for nearly running over a Weehawken police officer during a traffic stop while trying to avoid a traffic buildup on his way to work, the Weehawken Police said.

No sentencing date has been scheduled.

Under the terms of the plea deal, if Lauletta has no other legal or traffic incidents for 12 months, the charges will be dismissed, the Hudson County prosecutor’s office said.
