ORLANDO, Fla. — John Mara is the co-owner of the Giants. Owners, in case anyone has not noticed, usually get what they want when it comes to what goes on with their teams.
There was this from Mara on Tuesday afternoon regarding the tumult surrounding a possible Odell Beckham Jr. trade:
“He’s not on the block,’’ Mara said at the NFL owners’ meeting. “Is that gonna stop clubs from possibly calling us? No. But he’s not the block. We’re not shopping him.’’
And there was this:
“Do I want him to be traded? Absolutely not.
