It looks as if the Giants will again be without Saquon Barkley and Wayne Gallman for another game, meaning there is only one running back on the roster, rookie Jon Hilliman, available to face the Patriots Thursday night at Gillette Stadium.
The other possible ball carrier is Eli Penny, a fullback, who got three rushing attempts in the loss to the Vikings.
The Giants held a walk-through practice on Monday, so all participation labels are estimates. Barkley, healing from a high ankle sprain, would have been a limited participant, if the Giants held a full practice.
“He’s doing great,’’ coach Pat Shurmur said of Barkley.
