Giants' Ben McAdoo weighs in on new NFL overtime rules

EAST RUTHERFORD -- Fifteen is greater than 10.

That was one of the biggest takeaway Giants head coach Ben McAdoo let on to last week when asked about the wave of rules changes NFL owners recently approved at a league meeting in Chicago.

The new rules: Preseason and regular season overtime has been reduced from 15 minutes to 10, the celebration guidelines have been relaxed, teams can now have two players return to the active roster from injured reserve each year, and the 75-man cutdown is no more, meaning teams will carry their entire 90-man roster until they have to trim down to 53 at the end of the summer.
