Eli Manning did not make a cameo in the "Entourage" movie, but he certainly had a starring role in some of its pre-release hype.
According to series creator Doug Ellin, who conducted interviews prior to the release of the film on June 3, he was in touch with Manning about having the Giants quarterback appear in a cameo in the movie. In fact, he said Manning had reached out to him about a spot.
But, according to Ellin, Manning backed out without ever telling Ellin. He just disappeared and stopped returning calls. Ellin, a Long Islander and Giants fan, had to turn to Tom Brady for the cameo.
