Who knew Adrian Peterson is such a big fan of Will Tye?
The re-signing of the young tight end from Stony Brook must be what Peterson was referring to Wednesday evening when he tweeted, “The Giants have been making some interesting moves.’’
Wait. What?
Peterson might have been referring to the release of running back Rashad Jennings, the Giants’ leading rusher the past two seasons.
Very well, then, that makes more sense — for Peterson, not for the Giants.
Peterson is scheduled to count $18 million on the Vikings’ salary cap, and he is due a $6 million bonus March 11.
