Tom Coughlin offered lukewarm assessments of two players who had to step in (or step over) to replace injured starters.
Justin Pugh saw his first NFL snaps at left tackle after rookie Ereck Flowers left the game with an ankle injury. Pugh played right tackle his first two seasons and began this year as the left guard.
"I think there were some good plays and some plays that weren't so good," Coughlin said of Pugh's play on the outside. "He had an exceptional rusher, Justin did, on his outside, and he caused pressure at the worst time of the game, obviously.
