It is not quite the midpoint of the season. Seven games into a 16-game schedule is an opportune time for a break, especially when the Week 7 action took place in faraway London. The Giants will use this time to self-scout themselves, with the coaching staff trying to find tendencies, trends that are and are not working and clues into what has succeeded, and why, and what has failed, and why.
The study sessions should look into whether Ben McAdoo is the right guy to continue calling the offensive plays. It will be revealing to see just how open and honest the first-year head coach is with himself when the subject is himself.
