There's precocious. And then there’s Odell Beckham Jr.
The second-year Giants wide receiver recalls telling his mom that he planned to play in the NFL — when he was only four years old.
“I was outside playing and it was cold, but I was just by myself throwing the football around,” Beckham recalled in this year’s ESPN the Magazine’s Body Issue.
“She was like, ‘What the hell are you doing outside?’ I told her, ‘I’m practicing for Sundays.’ ”
The 22-year-old achieved his dream in spectacular fashion last year, notching 91 catches and 12 TDs — including his jaw-dropping, one-handed end zone grab against the Dallas Cowboys.
