NYCFC’s official squad numbers for 2017 have been released.
Starting with the goalkeepers, Sean Johnson takes up the no.1 jersey following his move from Chicago Fire in the offseason, while Eirik Johansen and Andre Rawls remain as 25 and 24 respectively.
In defense, Alexander Callens takes up the no.6 vacated by Fede Bravo, Ben Sweat replaces Jason Hernandez as no.2 and Kwame Awuah is the new no.14.
The rest of the defenders’ numbers are unchanged, meaning Ethan White is no.3, Maxime Chanot is no.4, Frederic Brillant is no.13, Ronald Matarrita retains no.22, RJ Allen stays as no.
