The Tennessee Titans reached an agreement with Tampa Bay Buccaneers free agent Adam Humphries, one of the top slot receivers on the market and a big-time target for the New Orleans Saints. The Saints badly need a specialist slot receiver, and Humphries fit the bill perfectly as an accomplished veteran they knew well. But that’s not to be, and he’ll instead be suiting up for the Titans in the 2019 season.
Humphries set career-bests in every receiving category in 2018, posting 76 receptions for 816 and five touchdown catches. Only Minnesota Vikings star Adam Thielen recorded more receptions from the slot than Humphries (58) in the entire NFL.
