Saints practice attendance report: Okafor in, Armstead and Te'o out

The New Orleans Saints held a practice open to the media and we’ve got updates on several situations, per Luke Johnson of NOLANews.com/the Times-Picayune, in Tuesday’s attendance report. Several players were held out as they continue to rehab injuries, including tight end Michael Hoomanawanui and defensive back J.T. Gray.

Starting middle linebacker Manti Te’o and left tackle Terron Armstead were not seen at practice, but it’s unknown what drew them away. Without word from the team it’s not safe to assume they’re injured. They could have just been given ‘veteran’s rest’ and were told to take the day off; in Te’o’s case, he likely has family to see to after his home state of Hawaii was hammered by Hurricane Lane last weekend.
