Beloved NBA reporter Craig Sager passed away Thursday at the age of 65 after battling acute myeloid leukemia.
From basketball fans, coaches to players, the legendary broadcaster's death touched many, and tributes took social media by storm throughout Thursday afternoon and into the evening.
The impact of his passing, however, extended beyond the NBA community, as New Orleans Saints players also mourned the loss of the sports broadcasting icon.
"It was sad because he's a big face in the whole sports industry," said running back Travaris Cadet, a Miami native who grew up a Heat fan.
