NEW ORLEANS – Former Indianapolis Colts tight end Coby Fleener said signing with the New Orleans Saints was a “no brainer.” “I think knowing that they have been so successful on offense with Drew (Brees) leading the way and using the tight end was something that was easily exciting for me.” As was his new his new five-year, $36 million contract, which represents a significant raise for the four-year veteran who was a second-round pick (34th overall) out of Stanford in 2012. Still, he insists he approached free agency with an open mind and never really considered how the market for tight ends would develop.
