The New Orleans Saints have had some good receivers over the years. Danny Abromowicz, Eric Martin, Quinn Early, Joe Horn, Marques Colston to name just a few. But they’ve never had a receiver like Michael Thomas. What he’s doing in his third season is simply off the charts.
Through just nine games, Michael Thomas has 78 catches for 950 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s averaging over a hundred yards a game and is catching passes at close to a 90-percent rate.
Pro Football Focus has finally elevated Thomas to their number one receiver after his performance in Cincinnati in Week 10.
